Thread is a progressive web app (PWA) that can be loaded in any browser. 

To save it to your mobile phone's home screen:

On iPhone (Apple)

Use Safari (this only works from Safari, not Chrome).

1. Open Safari.
2. Go to: https://thread.pearl-quest.com.
3. Wait for the page to fully load.
4. Tap the Share button (square with an up arrow at the bottom of the screen).
5. Scroll in the options and tap Add to Home Screen.
6. Edit the name if you like.
7. Tap Add (top‑right).

You’ll now see an icon on your Home Screen. Tap it and the app will open in its own window, like a normal app.

On Android (Google / Samsung, etc.)

Use Google Chrome for the easiest experience.

1. Open the Chrome browser.
2. Go to: https://thread.pearl-quest.com.
3. Wait for the page to fully load.
4. Tap the three dots menu in the top‑right corner.
5. Tap Add to Home screen or Install  app (wording may vary by phone).
6. Confirm the name if prompted, then tap Add.

An icon will be added to the Home Screen; tapping it opens the app directly, without needing to open the browser first. 

 Tips

• Bookmark or save the URL somewhere first, in case you need to re‑add the icon later.
• If someone doesn’t see “Add to  Home Screen” or “Install app,”  make sure the page is fully loaded and not in an “Incognito/Private” tab.
